Preparing For Pregnancy Soon After Birth | CloudMom

Answering a question from a viewer asking if it’s too soon to get pregnant right after having a baby. Watch for my advice!
http://cloudmom.com

Gotta love this name, guys. Pure Joy & Laughter from YouTube wrote in to ask about the timing of her second pregnancy. Mom of a 6 month old baby, she’s already interested in having another baby, but feels that she hasn’t healed enough. She asks: “has it been long enough to be OK?” Well, Pure Joy (can I give you that nickname?), your name was so compelling that I just had to answer right away and plus, I love this issue because I have been there, sister. My first two babies were 13 months apart, my second two 19 months apart, and #3 and #4 were 21 months apart. I never did the “spacing ’em out” thing — rather I did the “sandwich ’em” thing so I have a lot to say on this!

First thing that comes to mind: having babies close in age is not easy. It has it’s advantages, including coordinating naps, but having two in diapers can been tough. There’s literally no break, no reprieve other than the afternoon nap and you have two little ones to transport (by age 3 many can walk on their own, at least for short stints). When kids get older, they can be some sibling rivalry issues too. I’ve been there. I live with this everyday. My kids are extremely close, but because they are doing so much together, sometimes they crave space.

How far apart are your children? Did you plan to space them out?

Meanwhile, planning to have a baby when you already have a baby is easier mentally because you know what you’re looking at. When you walk into the good old baby megaspore, your knees don’t quiver.

In today’s blog, I talk about my own experiences with having babies in a row, getting pregnant while breastfeeding, and give some advice for moms who have young babies, but are already thinking about having a baby again.

Hope you like the video and thanks for watching!

Today I’m talking all about my pregnancy journey with baby number 2! How I became pregnant six months after having my son despite breastfeeding and not originally planning on having multiple children.
* I apologise about the abrupt ending I had multiple camera issues the day I tried to film this video, this was the third attempt and for some reason it decided to stop recording at this point without me realising 😩

❤ Week 36 is the last week in which the fetus stops being premature. Now the fetus reaches 47 cm and weighs about 2,700 grams.

The baby continues to move, but no longer has as energetic movements as in previous weeks, because each time it has less space and less fluid. Most are positioned cephalad, although the head does not have to be wedged in at this time.
Little by little, the baby’s skin becomes more pink and the lanugo loses. By the end of this week you will be fully formed. In fact, from week 37 to 42 the fetus is considered full term.

Week 6 of Pregnancy 🤰 6 weeks pregnant, 6 week pregnancy, week 6 pregnancy, 6th week of pregnancy

So much happening this week! But what’s up with that… tail? Plus, are you taking the best prenatal for you?

Baby at 6 Weeks Pregnant 🚼 6 weeks baby in womb, baby at 6 weeks in womb, 6 weeks pregnant inside the womb, 6 weeks pregnant baby position, 6 weeks pregnant baby moving

Your lil’ bambino is about the size of a dried lentil (humble beginnings). And I hate to break it to you, but she’s got a tail! But don’t worry, she won’t come out looking like a kangaroo; the tail disappears around week 8.
Still, there’s a lot of action happening in that tiny little body of hers. Let’s start with her heart: It’s pumping away at over 100 bpm and organizing in a way that will soon resemble four heart chambers.
Speaking of chambers, her early brain sections have developed too! We’re talking about the forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain—the very beginnings of your Baby Einstein.
And if that wasn’t enough, the cells of other vital organs like the liver and lungs are on board now, too.

You at 6 Weeks Pregnant 🚺

Physically, you probably haven’t noticed many changes yet unless you’ve been hit by morning sickness (or rather ALL DAY SICKNESS). Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with natural morning sickness remedies that may help.
Don’t be worried if you’ve dropped a few pounds due to food aversions or loss of appetite. Morning sickness usually passes by the second trimester, and you’ll be gaining lbs like it’s your full-time job around then. (Keep in mind that most OB-GYNs and midwives only recommend gaining 1–5 pounds in the first trimester anyway.)
The important thing is to listen to your body, get ample rest, take your prenatal, and do the best you can in eating nutritious meals (even if that just means consuming a natural morning sickness smoothie each day).
If heartburn is interfering with your ability to eat, try smaller meals throughout the day (but leaving at least 2 hours before bedtime without food). You can also try drinking a little raw apple cider vinegar diluted in water with your meals to boost digestion. Here are more natural remedies for pregnancy heartburn.
If you find yourself throwing up multiple times a day, be sure to check in with your healthcare provider to ensure you stay hydrated and healthy.

The Best Prenatal Vitamins for You 💡

Wondering what the best prenatal vitamins are for your growing baby? Find out in this post which ones are best for you based on your health and lifestyle.
One of the first proactive things you can do is get on a good food-based prenatal. If you are already, brownie points for you! 🙂 This will flood your body with easily absorbable nutrients that will support your baby and you throughout your pregnancy.
Since the earliest part of your baby’s neural tube is coming together right now, you want to be sure you’re on a folate-packed prenatal, which can protect against neurological defects.
But, which is the best one to take? There are a lot of prenatals out there, even food-based ones! So, it depends on which nutrients you are looking for and if you have any MTHFR mutations.

I tested a bunch of pregnancy tests to figure out which one detects early pregnancy first and which ones fail. I am testing 6dp5dt or 11DPO after a frozen embryo transfer. This would have been the equivalent of 3 days before my missed period and was 6 days before my 12 day post transfer blood work.
